Jamie Blane Martin (born February 8, 1970 in Orange, California) is an American football quarterback who plays for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. He holds on extra points and field goals for the Saints.[1] He has been a backup most of his career.[1]

High school
Jamie attended Arroyo Grande High School in Arroyo Grande, California and graduated in 1988. He lettered in football, basketball, baseball, and golf. In 1987, he was quarterback of the Arroyo Grande Eagles football team. The highlight of the very successful season was winning the California CIF Southern Section Championship at Burroughs High School in Burbank. This was the school's first championship in the school's 97 year history. He finished his high school football career with 40 touchdowns.[1]
College
While attending college at Weber State, Jamie earned the prestigious Walter Payton Trophy as NCAA Division I-AA Player of the Year after completing 310 of 500 passes for 4,125 yards and 35 touchdowns as a junior. Jamie ended his college career fifth in w:NCAA history with 12,287 yards total offense and 12,207 yards passing.[1][1]

Jamie is married to wife, Kelly, and lives in Chesterfield, Missouri with their sons, Jackson and Andrew, and daughter, Ally.[1]
