The people listed below have been are believed deceased, but no confirmation from reliable sources has been located. Simply not knowing personally what happened to a person does not qualify (unless they are an official "missing person" investigated by the police). If the person was born over 125 years ago, it is probably safe to mark them as "unconfirmed"; otherwise it is best to remain silent on the topic.

If you know the person is still alive, please go to the associated article or page and correct the misinformation or contact someone for help if you are unfamiliar with editing wikis.

If you know the person is deceased (for example, you attended the memorial service), please update the cause of death (selecting "unknown causes" if you do not know the cause) and add a note to the talk page of the article providing as much detail as you can to help others locate reliable sources. If you know of a reliable source (newspaper article, photo of the cemetery plot with headstone, website, etc.) with that information, please mention it in the article, and ideally, link to the information.
