Hi. I just wanted to let everyone know that the main portal for the AGHSReunions.com website (http://aghsreunions.com/) was just updated and given a fresh new look. Looks aren’t the only thing that’s changed, of course.

I searched all through Facebook, MySpace, and several other sites looking for groups and other areas of interest related to Arroyo Grande High School. I’ve added direct links to a variety of class reunion information, clubs, sports teams, social chat groups, and even videos.

If you haven’t been by AGHSReunions.com lately, take a look and please leave me feedback.

You should also subscribe to our announcement blog’s RSS feeds to stay updated. Add some photos to the gallery. Start a discussion on our message boards. You could also add a biography for yourself or another classmate to the Wiki.

This site was created by Will Murray, class of 1988. It is designed for everyone who attended Arroyo Grande High School in Arroyo Grande, California, USA to find, discuss, learn about, and share class reunion information.

Unlike expensive pay-to-participate websites, this site is free. You are welcome to post messages, share photos, and fully participate in this website.

This site is exclusively for alumni and current students. It is an all-volunteer effort. There is nobody sitting in an office running a help desk or available by phone to answer your questions. Hopefully the site will be easy enough for everyone to use. If you want to help new visitors get their bearings and learn how to use this site fully, please consider becoming a Site Guide.

This blog is an announcement-only service. It is designed to pass along breaking news and updates. Announcements cover all class years, but you can pick the class in which you are interested in the categories section. You can even subscribe to an RSS feed of all announcements or just your own class announcements. Everyone who has an account is welcome to leave comments about the announcements.

If you are part of your class’ reunion planning committee, please become a subscriber (basic membership) and leave feedback asking to be upgraded to an editor. This is working on the honor system right now. As the site grows, that will probably have to change.

If you encounter an error or software glitch, please try it again a little later; problems are often only temporary. If the problem repeats, please leave feedback describing exactly what you were doing, what you expected to happen, and exactly what happened (include any error messages you received). It is also helpful to know what type of computer and web browser version you are using. All feedback is read, but we can’t always respond to each feedback personally. Thank you for understanding.

All content on this site should be at a G, PG, PG-13 level. We reserve the right to remove or edit content that does not fit that criteria, but we do not monitor or approve content before it goes “live”. Again, we rely on the honor system, and everyone who posts a message or comment is expected to behave appropriately.
